The company was established in 1995 under the name RECOL, initially serving as a dedicated Internet Service Provider (ISP) catering to the needs of businesses. In early 2016, we rebranded as Cloudsmart, solidifying our commitment to providing high-performance, cutting-edge solutions to some of the region’s most prominent businesses, municipalities, and organizations. Headquartered in Branford, Connecticut, we specialize in delivering innovative, secure, and reliable technology solutions that are customized to meet the ever-changing demands of our clients.
In 2019, new leadership took the helm, driving a strategic shift in our approach to better align with the dynamic technological landscape. This transformation enabled us to expand and adapt our offerings to meet the evolving needs of the clients we serve. By 2023, we made a strategic decision to hone our focus on three key service areas, with a goal of empowering Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to deliver exceptional solutions and value to their clients.
